Care Matters
The Government’s Green Paper ‘Care Matters: transforming the lives of children and young people in care’ also sets out a range of proposals for radically improving the educational attainment of children in care.
We strongly welcomed this Paper (see news item from 16 October 2006), as a real opportunity to make progress in breaking down the barriers to young people from care entering HE, and to address the specific needs of such a disadvantaged group.
