Femi Bola MBE is Director of Employability and Student Enterprise at the University of East London (UEL).
Femi’s background is in research and people development. She has helped to develop multiple award-winning schemes including one to help underachieving young people in east London’s Tower Hamlets borough to find jobs, and a public relations internship programme for Black, Asian and minority ethnic graduates.
Femi was the first non-academic member of staff to be awarded both a UEL and Higher Education Academy National Teaching Fellowship in recognition of her innovative practice and support of teaching and learning.
