A new online planner, to help students prepare for university has been launched this week by the DfES. The planner runs from June to September and highlights key dates, deadlines, tips and advice for prospective students, including information on bursaries.
Commenting on the planner, Sir Martin Harris, Director of OFFA, said: ‘I welcome the launch of this extremely valuable tool which aims to help prospective students plan and prepare for university life. It is an excellent way of encouraging applicants to explore, ahead of time, the full range of bursaries and scholarships available to them. It also highlights the need for students to consent to share information with institutions in order that bursaries can be paid.’
